ATV CORP. INTRODUCES NEW 
UNIVERSAL UGV PLATFORM FOR MID-SIZE APPLICATIONS

ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, August 2, 2004 - ATV Corporation today introduced the first Universal Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) Platform designed for use in a wide range of robotic and unmanned ground applications that require a medium-sized platform. The platform was unveiled at the Association for Unmanned Vehicle International (AUVSI) show in Anaheim, California.

The Company said that its platform adds a new dimension to those currently available to robotic and unmanned vehicle system designers and builders, filling the niche between micro platforms and large, heavy platforms currently in use. 

To date, ATV Corporation's product has been used primarily as the platform for Prowler, a purpose-built military vehicle.  In its military configurations, it is classified as a Light Tactical Vehicle.  In its commercial applications (farm. ranch, law enforcement, land management, geologic survey), Prowler is used as a Rugged General Purpose All Terrain Vehicle.

The Prowler UGV platform offers the same benefits as its military tested and proven version -- a singular combination of range, reliability, ruggedness and ability to operate in any terrain or climatic environment. 

ATV Corporation's Universal UGV platform's hallmark all terrain performance -- agility, stability, endurance and nimble handling -- is the result of its:
* Powerful 660 cc., 4 stroke, liquid-cooled engine
* All wheel drive with 3-way locking differential
* Low center of gravity, tight turning radius, high ground clearance
* Front and rear independent double wishbone suspension system

Particularly important, the Prowler UGV platform provides wheel or track mount interchangeability on the same hub.  No other UGV platform can offer this advantage.
